According to the announcement from the office of His Eminence Ayatullah Seestani (long may he live) in the holy city of Najaf, Tuesday 7 June is the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadhan in the United Kingdom, European, Scandinavian countries, Middle East and the rest of the world.
