The Role

You will join a small team working on the core technologies that drive the success of our customers and our own businesses. Work will be varied and include any of the following:

Working on our back-office system.
Working on Customers Web Design Projects
Working on an e-commerce website.
Working on our channel integration system.
Investigating bug reports on a system.
Work is done in sprints and all members of the team are expected to communicate and engage with other team members. Junior team members will be supported by more experienced team members via code review and training sessions.

What we are looking for

Brief Outline

We are looking to recruit Junior Web Designer to join our New Development team. You will be working across a range of technologies and platforms. Our development process is based on the WordPress, Microsoft .NET and PHP platform.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of key programming concepts.
    Excellent knowledge of Java, PHP
  • Keen interest in programming with drive to constantly learn and improve.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the .NET, PHP, Java, html and Python Framework
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and Magento CMS systems
  • Knowledge of MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQ and Oracle
  • Adobe Flash, Illustrator etc
  • SEO – search engine skills

Useful Skills

  • Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Web development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Typescript
  • SQL query syntax and structure along with Relational Database concepts.
  • Team development processes (Agile, Scrum)

We’re offering you a unique opportunity to combine a Talent Acquisition role, joining our growth team and an Agile Coach role taking part in software project teams 1.5 days a week.

You’ll be key to recruiting and supporting 30 new Theodoers who will join the adventure in the next 12 months, alongside delivering strategically important digital products for our clients by engaging directly with senior client decision makers.

From Day 1 we’ll offer you hands-on training in Scrum and Lean, so you can improve processes and retention internally, as well as coaching our clients and project teams, enabling them to build and deliver products at pace.

You’ll come from either a Digital and Technology Recruitment background and have a clear passion for our industry and for talent acquisition.

The ideal person will have:

– A minimum of 18 months experience of working in a Talent Acquisition role within the Digital and Technology industry
– A Bachelors or Masters degree from a reputable University / Business School
– Demonstrable experience of pushing recruitment initiatives through from start to finish
– Directly engaged with senior client stakeholders and built their trust
– A desire to progress, continuously learn and be challenged
