Notice of SGM – Thursday 1 August 2019 at 10.30pm

Salaamun Alaykum

In line with clause 9 of the Constitution, notice is hereby given by the Executive Committee of a Special General Meeting (SGM) to be held on Thursday 1 August 2019 at 10:30pm at the Husaini Shia Islamic Centre, Stanmore, HA7 4LQ, to transact the following:

1) Recitation of the Holy Qur’an and the English translation thereof

2) Consideration and adoption of the following resolution:

1. The members of The KSIMC of London hereby resolve to grant the Executive Committee the mandate to purchase a residential property (the “Property”) and enter into such contracts, incur such obligations and generally to do such acts as may be appropriate or necessary to purchase such Property; provided that the purchase price of the Property (excluding taxes and fees) shall not exceed £600,000.

In line with clause 9 of the Constitution, the Executive Committee feel it is in the community’s interest to hold a SGM so that the purchase of the residential property (already approved in the budget) can proceed without unnecessary delay.

Registration will commence at 10:00pm. Both male and female members are encouraged to attend.
