Sighting of the Crescent Moon – Followers of Ayatullah Syed Al-Khoei

Based on the rulings of Ayatullah Syed Al-Khoei, the sighting of the crescent moon of Shawwal 1442 H has been verified in Canada and the US in Ottawa, Toronto, New Jersey, Maryland and Orlando on Wednesday and therefore today Thursday 13/5/2021 will be the first day of the month of Shawwal and the day of Eid Al-Fitr.

As announced Eid prayers will be held at Hujjat Stanmore today Thursday at 7 am and it will be also be broadcasted online.
