Withdrawal of Candidacy
  
Dear Presidents and Hon Secretaries
 
Salaamun Alaikum
We have received notification today, 16 August 2012, from  AlHaj Gulamhusein RJ Sumar that he wishes to withdraw his candidacy for CoEJ Presidency for the term 2012-2015.

As there is now only one candidate, there is no requirement for the elections to go ahead in your respective Jamaats tomorrow, Friday 17 August 2012. Dr Husein Jiwa being the only candidate, is duly elected as CoEJ President for the term 2012-2015.

I appreciate that you would have gone through great pains to prepare for the elections, and I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and may Allah SWT reward you for all your efforts.
