Aim: To establish lessons learnt and explore a way forward in order to create and integrate “safeguarding children” arrangements within the Hujjat Centre – KSIMC of London
Objectives: By the end of the session, you will have achieved the following:
• Reflected on the lessons learnt with regards to safeguarding children arrangements at Hujjat
• Developed an understanding of our responsibilities in terms of child protection
• Discussed what needs to be done in order to ensure the “integration” of safeguarding arrangements into all of our activities at Hujjat and create safe practices, in order to ensure the protection of children within the community (about more than just the paperwork)
• Clarified any issues or concerns with regards to safeguarding arrangements at Hujjat
Audience Profile:
All members and parents, trustees of the Jamaat, volunteers, teachers, youth and children’s workers. Please – no children under the age of 18.
