HED-HEWER 3

“The Concept of a Saviour” & Visit My Mosque: Sun 7 Feb 10am

In: Latest News

HED-HEWER 3Salaamun Alaikum

The Higher Education Department of SI Madressa would like to invite you to join us on Sunday 7th February with a friend to discuss the concept of the “Final Saviour in faiths”. The discussion will be led by Dr Chris Hewer and Dr Amina Inloes both of whom have led fantastic sessions at the HED previously.

Previous sessions have enabled the HED learners to discuss the learning from the teaching of Imam Hussain (as) with Christian, Jewish and Hindu friends from school. We have also been joined by Religious Studies teachers from local schools who have provided very positive feedback. We hope you can join us and enrich the event with your contribution.

The session will commence at 10am and conclude with Dhuhr Prayers.

This event forms part of the Centre’s involvement with the Muslim Council of Britain’s Visit My Mosque initiative, when Islamic institutions across the country open their doors to the local community. Please do invite any non-Muslim friends and neighbours to come along and attend the session, after which they will be given a tour of the centre.

We look forward to seeing many of you then.
