Simultaneously the ladies will be discussing: ‘Spiritual Psychology: the mental state and challenges of modern Muslim women in the West’’ with the highly accomplished Sister Nour Tessie of Denmark.

The Ladies will be having a thought-provoking session with the very highly regarded Dr Rebecca Masterton discussing ‘Narcissism and identity.’

Sunday June 2nd, 2019 – 3pm – Iftaar
 
This year, we want to encourage everyone to engage in a discussion about heart health and habits that lead to a healthy heart. Let’s talk, Heart and Habits
 
Alongside the customary health screening for diabetes, cholesterol and obesity, there will be multiple stalls highlighting the services available both within and outside the community and how to access them. Professionals with expertise in dementia, bereavement, mental health and women’s issues to name a few will be available for you to talk to.
 
In addition, following on from the success of last year, we will once again be holding professionally-led seminars on topics such as CPR training, the secrets to unlocking your mind, youth issues, health hacking and meditation.

Healthy Eating Initiative[Ladies only]

Hujjat Health & Wellbeing Team in collaboration with Al Haadi Hujjat Youth present a healthy eating initiative.

On Saturday 25th May, Salad will be served along side Iftaar for the Ladies at Stanmore Jamaat.

This will be a trial day to gauge feasibility & popularity regarding this addition to our meals. If successful, we aim to implement this more regularly next Ramadhan inshaAllah.

The Annual Ramadhan Health & Well-Being Day will be held on Sunday 2nd June 2019 at Hujjat Stanmore from 3pm onwards till iftaar time. Please attend in large numbers.

The aim of this quiz is to build our relation & strengthen our ties with the Holy Qur’an and eventually make it the pivotal guide book of our life. Additionally, it serves as an opportunity to build family bonds and connect generations within our community.

2 questions are to be released every day, (you are able to catch up on questions) please do keep a look out for questions updates on the Al Haadi Youth social media accounts.
